External check hinges stop seat at 11 degrees beyond vertical. Made from high grade durable solid plastic, the seat resists chips, wears and stains. All Bath Décor plastic seats are manufactured with 100% pure virgin polypropylene that does not use any fillers, extenders, or regrind for the longest service life.
